Administration

  • Plan exhibition layout and design and vendors allocations across all venues
  • Liaise with exhibition venues to ensure the needs of the vendors and guest at the venues are met, including material and equipment requirements
  • Liaise with the CEO and Head of Corporate Strategy regarding the preparation of all Souks partner and venue agreements
  • Liaise with the CEO and Head of Corporate Strategy regarding the expected timelines as required
  • Manage or contribute to production of both interim and final event reports for sponsors.
  • Assure the completion of acknowledgement / thank you letters relating to awarded sponsorships.
  • Schedule exhibition debriefs with all venues, reporting on the outcome and recommendations for future exhibitions to the Head of Corporate Strategy and CEO
  • Act as a key Souks contact with participating Souks sponsors, vendors, partners, venues and their staff
  • Work closely with Souks management and event planning teams to oversee and maintain the exhibition timeline
  • Supervise the order, purchase and rental of all material and equipment required to deliver the exhibition
  • Revenue Generation & Sponsorship

  • Create and implement a strategy with the CEO and the Souk Project teams, to further grow the revenues generated from sponsors and vendors
  • Prepare proposals and sponsorship applications, with approval of the CEO.
  • Manage relationships with new and existing sponsors and develop and deliver Sponsorship strategy
  • Create sponsorship packages and campaign plans for exhibitions
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors and vendors, through securing and leading new business meetings, and maintaining strong relationships
  • Writing high quality external communications documents, including sponsorship
  • marketing materials as required

    Financial Budget

  • Work closely with the Head of Corporate Strategy to develop and track the sponsorship budget and expected income throughout the year.
  • Manage the overall exhibition budget to ensure financial targets are met and cost effective strategies and procedural controls are in place
  • Work closely with the Head of Accounts to manage, forecast and acquit expenditures
  • Minimum Qualification :

    Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

    Knowledge & Skills :

  • Resourceful, lateral thinker with initiative and flexibility to create and articulate a convincing, coherent sponsorship case in writing and in person
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken, as the position involves extensive communication internally and externally
  • Proven high-level attention to detail and follow through with an ability to exercise initiative
  • Experience in B2B account management
  • Good relationship with corporates is required, as well as good working knowledge of the food, fashion, beauty, craft and technology space in Nigeria and West Africa
  • Experience of cultivating and maintaining productive partnerships and relationships
