The lamination engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and engineering support to the company. This includes optimization of processes and procedures, performing engineering studies on new products / processes, validation efforts, performing root cause analysis, tooling and fixture design, and hands on troubleshooting.
The lamination engineer will interface with multiple departments including production, quality control, design engineering and the leadership group.
A bachelor’s degree in material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
Relevant work experience.
2 - 5 years of work experience.
Previous work experience in Nigeria and / or Africa is an added advantage.
Design, develop, and implement new processes.
Provide required support to meet team objectives.
Develop and update routings, and bill of materials (BOM).
Provide project support and / or leadership on the introduction of new products.
Maintain optimum production capacity.
Contribute greatly in reducing plant wide costs.
Develops and maintain work instructions.
Materials testing / planning.
Become an active participant and contributor to the continuous improvements process.
