Technical Assistance in Support of The State and Resilience Building Contract II SBRC II
DAI Europe is currently preparing for the forthcoming EU project Technical Assistance in Support of The State and Resilience Building Contract II in Gambia which is expected to start in September 2020.
In the framework of the programme, the service contract will provide technical assistance to achieve the following results :
Enhanced performance of Public Finance Management (PFM), Procurement and Public Private Partnership, with emphasis on the fight against corruption.
Improved functioning of the democratic, rule of law, and security institutions.
The technical assistance team will be responsible for developing programme methodology, coordinating the activities of local stakeholders, and for capitalizing on and scaling up local achievements by addressing horizontal policy issues and institutional challenges at all levels.

Key Expert 3- Transitional Justice Expert
Qualifications and Skills :
Postgraduate qualification in business, finance, economics, law or related field
Fluent in English
General professional experience :
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in post-graduate experience in conflict response and justice
A minimum of 4 years of field work experience in developing and / or fragile countries including interacting with international, regional organisations and with civil society organisations
A minimum of 3 years of experience in working with EU institutions will be considered an asset, in particular on justice related processes.
Specific Professional Experience :
At least 5 years of experience working on transitional justice sectors (including constitution-making, restoration of justice for the population, transitional justice processes, community-based transitional justice processes) in conflict, transition and post-conflict context.
At least 4 years of experience in programming and capacity building in the field of transitional justice.
