Job Description

Report to the Head of Operation on a daily basis

Know all the Drivers (capability. Ability, behaviour, their perceptions, dealings and communications etc.)

Documentation (opening of files for individual trucks and maintaining of logbook for all trucks)

Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports.

Liaising with maintenance unit including follow up on truck repairs

Safe audit of all trucks

Monitoring and tracking of trucks

Ensure road worthiness of all truck

Prompt recovery of trucks from police, highway breakdown and other law enforcement agencies

Supervising and monitoring of transloading or transhooking of trucks as the situation demands

Monitoring and tracking of trucks

Determine fuel consumption of each truck

Endorsement of return waybill
