Vacancy Announcement : Compliance Manager, Location Ibadan

Associationfor Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is one of the leading NigerianNon-Governmental Organizations implementing programs for improving ReproductiveHealth and Family planning (RH / FP), Care and Treatment of HIV / AIDS, Tuberculosis(TB) and Malaria etc.

Region 1) OVC Project . This position isfor a period of Six (6) months (July December, 2019).

1. ComplianceManager, Location- Ibadan

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Review grant management activitiesto ensure that financial guidelines of funder organizations and other controlprocedures on grant management on the project are functioning effectively.
  • Carry out financial support of subrecipients and CBOs through supportive supervision, coaching and monitoring andoversight visits.

    Carry out internal controlassessments and site visits to determine weakness and their impact on thegrant.Follow up on implementation of auditrecommendations / management action plans.

    Carry out investigations of allegedfraud, mismanagement, loss of assets etc.Ensure that projects can function ata high level of quality while delivering value for money servicesWork with program, M & E andfinance teams to ensure efficient usage of grant funds.

    Qualifications :

    Degreein Accounting, finance or other relevant field plus any of the followingprofessional accounting certification : ACA or ACCA or CPA plus an MBA.

    At leastfive (5) years’ experience in grant management in a dynamic multi-culturalinternational non-governmental organization setting, excellent accounting andauditing skills.

  • Audit firm working experience would be an added advantage. Knowledgeof USAID and other international donor rules and regulations as related tocontracts and cooperative agreements;
  • working knowledge of OMB Circulars. Goodcomputer skills in Ms Office and accounting software-Quick Books are highlyessential.
