To support the inventory controller to ensure effective warehouse stock control at all time.
JOB HOLDER’S MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Keep and update all inventory records regularly and promptly
Apply the 3-way matching principle to receiving stocks from suppliers.
Conduct periodical physical stock count to standard and promptly at set intervals such as Shift end, month end and hard close stock counts in order to support control and financial regulations requirements.
Reconcile physical stock-take results, identify and investigate variances and resolve as necessary.
Ensure independent stock counts are conducted to verify the results of stock counts captured onto warehouse systems and conduct Ad-
hoc stock counts in order to support additional controls in stock management.
Update the warehouse systems with route sales load settlement adjustments with corrections conducted on a daily basis and corrections updated on warehouse systems
Stock variance reports are drawn after every shift to ensure that stock differences are not rolled over.
Monitor stock levels of finished products and containers and communicate to line manager on a daily basis to support planning
Coordinate product destruction / decantation and ensure the involvement of all appropriate interested parties
File documents neatly in logical sequence to support smooth access for reference
Reconcile material issued to Production to Packaged Volumes.
Properly manage procedure for finished goods and ensure receipt and reconciliation exist.
Apply the FIFO principles at all times.
Empties & Cullet Reconciliation procedural implemented to standard in order to support stock management
Consistently observe, monitor and manage stock age to standards in receiving and issuing stocks
Production stock level procedural managed to standard in order to support production
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business related discipline
2-3 years post qualification experience preferably in a manufacturing company.
