Job Description :
Responsible for coordinating geotechnical investigations for dredging purposes.
Generate geotechnically and survey reports.
Ensure that all production related equipment function properly and identify defects for rectification.
Liaise with the Project Manager, and Clients on dredging methodology, project progress and evaluation.
Organize survey team for daily site survey functions.
Provide a high degree of technical survey knowledge and expertise for all survey aspects of the Survey Department and projects.
Implements policies and procedures for the effective and efficient functioning of the project survey team on site.
Is responsible for the quality control and quality assurance of survey data, Field checks, calibrations and survey results.
Oversees the (survey) staffing of the project and advises the Area Survey Manager and Project Manager regarding personnel requirements or improvements.
Support, advise and facilitate the Site Project Team in survey and operational matters.
Job Requirements :
BSc / HND in Survey with a minimum of 10 years cognate experience in the hydrographic survey with at least 4 years’ experience working in a management position.
He should possess a good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Project and Auto-Cad.
