Instead of giving handouts, they invest in farmers to generate a gain in farm income.

About the role

They are looking to hire a Nigeria Program Growth Lead who will :

Lead strategy and the growth of the Impact Ventures Program in Nigeria

Lead the development, implementation and growth of trials / innovations that can scale and reach and impact the lives of farmers in Nigeria

Lead high-level trial / project design and discussions which include marketing strategy, pricing, and distribution of the product / service

Monitoring and evaluation (M and amp;E) plan and execution work with the M and amp;E team to design data collection plans to evaluate impact at trial / project conclusion

Work with other departments and global research teams to build programme solutions and innovations.

Communicate updates and results to the deputy country director

Constant interactions with the field teams in the field communicating with potential smallholder farmer clients to understand real-time challenges.

Identify opportunities to improve operations and program performance, through weekly tracking of Measurements, and identifying / working on process improvements.

Manage budgets and create forecasts for expansion and other programme innovations.

Hire and develop teams to operationalize plans

Requirements :

Be able to manage projects that involve scaling up

Be able to implement strategies based on field data and programmatic evidence

Be Fluent in English; knowledge of Hausa (and other Nigerian languages.

How Important are you to the bottom line?

You will lead strategy and the growth of the Impact Ventures Program in Nigeria.

What do you need to have done in your career?

A Bachelor and #x27;s degree in Business Administration, International Development, Agric Economics, or related fields.

4- 5 years of relevant professional work experience, including leading teams or entrepreneurial experience (e.g. starting a new program, department or launching new projects)
