Our Client is an integrated indigenous EPCI company in Nigeria construction and engineering services to the energy sector, they currently have the following vacancyfor a suitably qualified person to join its team.
Primarilyresponsible for the operation of measuring instruments that are used in designand configuration of automated systems.
This typically involves improvingsystem productivity, reliability, safety, optimisation and stability. Will alsobe responsible for monitoring and reporting on activities whilst ensuring thatteam work safely to deliver on key tasks and targets.
Leads the Instrumentations Engineering team.
Supports the instrument and control equipment both onshore and offshore to ensure that it remains efficient and productive.
Assures performance through clear metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design and develop effective control and automation systems
Provides technical support and guidance to offshore or on-site teams.
Monitors the performance of the electrical, instrument, automation and communication systems.
Ensures that electrical and electronic systems meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
Carries out manual and computer analysis.
Reviews and comments on supplier information and assist with inspection and testing.
Minimum of 10 years working experience in Oil and Gas design, project or construction industries with control and instrumentation responsibilities.
Experience in engineering, pipeline, and project management services in the oil and gas sector preferred.
Degree in related Engineering discipline. Professional accreditation is a plus.
An effective influencer at senior management levels.
