Our client is an emerging leader in the Real Estate Development industry with interests and focus on residential, leisure and commercial Property Developments in Nigeria and selected foreign markets such as Dubai.

Its value driven offering assist clients by locating unique investment opportunities in prime locations, conducting due diligence on all aspects of the prospective property development or acquisition, sourcing finance (in form of Equity or Debt) and coordinating the activities of related parties to ensure timely and successful project execution.

And in alignment with its growth strategy to be led by an agile and visionary leadership and other key talents, it is seeking to fill the critical position of a Managing Director (MD) from among interested and highly motivated industry top talents with proven and relevant track records.

Job objective

To serve as the Chief Executive, Operating, accounting and administrative officer of the company responsible for the day-to-day management, and operations of the company, providing strategic direction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate the Company’s vision, goals and objectives and ensure alignment of its corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for developing business strategy as well as implementation and achievement of budget as agreed by the Board.
  • Maintain the Company goals that ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic objectives.
  • Prepare, upon due consultation with such professional experts as s / he may deem appropriate, such business case, financial model, operational codes and other documentation as will assure the successful operation and sustenance of the Company’s business.
  • Company Budgeting Matters : Oversight functions in relation to all company’s budgeting matters particularly :
  • a) Preparation of quarterly and annually budgets

    b) Signing all the company’s bank accounts together with such other personnel as the board may designate

    c) Monitoring expenditure in accordance with board’s approved budgetary limits and principles

    d) Authorize expenditure (capital expenditure and recurrent expenditure) to such annual limits as may be approved by the Board from time to time.

    e) Periodic review of financial statements

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and monitor achievement of targets by subordinate teams.
  • Have very strong crisis management skills which are essential in times of need.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Board, Greenwich Capital Limited.

  • Education Requirement

  • First degree or its equivalent in any discipline
  • A relevant post graduate degree (MBA) / Professional Qualifications (ANIVS, FMP) is desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 (fifteen) years relevant experience
