About the role

They are looking to hire a Nodes.js and react.js fullstack developer who will be responsible for adding new features to their web application and managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

You will help take their application from a proof of concept to a production-ready application.

What do you need to be considered successful?

You will also be responsible for building frontend components using haml, CSS and javascript. Therefore, an understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

You will also be responsible for the following :

  • Design and implementation of low latency high availability, high-availability and performant application
  • Integration with Postgres database
  • Building and Integration of user-facing elements
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
  • Implementation of security and data protection

    As the Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.

    You will have the unique responsibility of effectively creating website foundations using back-end applications and database structures.

    The biggest problem-solving duties on the Job

    Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

    What do you need to have done in your career?

  • Experience with React.js and Nodes.js, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as haml
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Sass
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
  • A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
