To plan and manage assets according to our clients’ needs and work to beneficially grow their portfolio while minimizing risks.
Role Summary :
The Position Holder is primarily responsible for creating and managing financial investments and activities for clients that includes money markets instruments, bonds and mutual funds.
The Position Holder will support Primary Portfolio Managers, and maintain secondary responsibility for asset portfolio .
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities :
The Position Holder is also required to sit on investment and mutual funds committees of the organization and make presentations of the funds’ performance.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the portfolio management function.
Assist in market research and analysis efforts into uncovering both global and local macroeconomic trends, extensive research into various financial instruments, and in-depth review of mostly publicly traded companies, in order to understand current trends, and forecast future performance.
Assist to manage portfolio performance and develop portfolio performance benchmarks and targets based on factual market information on an annual basis, or at any other frequency interval requested.
Review proposals for investment in quoted equities, bonds, and money market securities.
Prepare funds management proposals to current and prospective clients.
Asset Allocation Review on a constant basis, the asset allocation of mutual funds to ensure compliance with the trust deeds
Bachelor’s degree minimum of Second Class in a Finance / Accounting / Economic course in an accredited University.
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Investment / Asset Management / Financial Advisory
Professional certification in Finance and / or Accounting from a recognized professional body ( CFA level 1, ACCA, ICAN)
