  • Ensure all joint venture partners are aware of local business risks and opportunities.
  • Strategy and Commercial Management

  • Develop and manage strategies for company business including growth and long term sustainability.
  • Develop and successfully manage joint venture relationships with company’s partners.
  • Develop bidding strategies and integrated solutions to customers.
  • Review and plan Nigerian Content Development strategies as required.
  • Ensure strong government and customer relationships are developed and maintained.
  • Ensure first class business intelligence and competitor analysis is gathered, stored and communicated.
  • Develop growth and capture strategies.
  • Attend meetings and conferences where required to meet business development objectives.
  • Reporting

  • Deliver monthly business reports on company to HQ.
  • Deliver quarterly JV, competitor and industry reviews and investment performance summaries to the Board including an annual review of strategic direction.
  • Provide business plans, budgets and forecasts to HQ.
  • Provide deal analysis and presentation to partners and the Board to support JV / investment decisions as required.
  • Key External Interfaces

  • Energy sector industry leaders and clients (IOC’s, others)
  • Joint venture partner representatives
  • Investment banks and others sources of deal flow
  • Financial Partners
  • Government agencies including NNPC, Napims, NCD, DPR, Nipex
  • Advisors, external analysts and other deal support resources
