RELYANT Global, LLC is currently soliciting resumes for an experienced Project Manager/Lead EOD/IEDD Instructor for a short term (four months) training project we are bidding on in Nigeria. The applicant must meet all qualification requirements as identified. Candidates with experience conducting EOD/IEDD operations using non-explosive procedures are highly sought. Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement and delivery of required equipment and training aids.
  • Management of all in country program staff.
  • Assist in writing all course content.
  • Manage project resources.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Constantly monitoring and reporting on project progress.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results.
  • Provide written After Action Reports; Collect/analyze lessons learned, identify trends, review capstone doctrinal publications.
  • Participating in and providing feedback during regular staff meetings and planning sessions.
  • Maintaining accountability and proper care of all assigned United Nations and Relyant owned equipment.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities, as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management with a minimum of 3 years minimum managing projects involving EOD or IEDD training (relevant military experience may count towards the 3 years). (required)
  • IMAS EOD Level 3+ and IEDD qualification from an internationally recognized training establishment. (required)
  • Minimum 1 year (within the last 5 years) as an IEDD instructor. (required)
  • Must be fluent in English, written and spoken. (required)
  • Be capable of multitasking - working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Be well-organized, punctual, reliable, and conscientious, and capable of managing resources and schedules to affect deadlines.
  • Be able to think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Able to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Work on technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. Assignments may often be self-initiated. Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Experience with developing unit training plans.
