About Company : Our client is a startup subsidiary of a leading Retail Group specializing in the production and distribution of premium branded table and sachet water in Lagos, Nigeria.
Job Summary : Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team and oversee the organization of key projects and sachet water production.
The ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
They must have demonstrated project management experience as well as the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for plant production goals, including the establishment and implementation of systems and procedures to ensure that the plants operations meet production plans, product quality, health / safety / environmental, and cost standards.
Predicting the resources required to achieve goals and managing resources in an effective and efficient manner
Supervising the smooth operation of the sachet water production plant
Responsible for quality and sales orientation, which includes identifying quality and sales improvement programs to improve the cost-effectiveness of the plants production process, as well as business development to increase market share.
Coordination with cross-discipline team members to ensure that all parties are adhering to project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Coordination of internal resources and third-party / vendor resources to ensure the successful completion of multiple projects.
Maintaining a clean and safe plant (as per NAFDAC requirements), including developing and implementing maintenance plans / strategies, maintenance job routines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), change management, and so on.
Keeping all necessary records to ensure effective monitoring of the plants production process, including monitoring of working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment for personnel and the plant, as well as safe end products for consumers.
Coordination of the creation of user manuals, training materials, and other documents required for the successful implementation and handover of the process or system to clients.
Identifying and developing new client opportunities, as well as maintaining customer satisfaction during the project transition period
Key Requirements :
A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution is compulsory.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
Strong technical and mechanical background, as well as knowledge of or expertise with the Liquid Packaging FFS (Fill Fold Seal) Machine
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Strong planning and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to work in teams and integrate cross-functionally
Ability to multi-task and carry out effective stakeholder engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
