Ushers help those in attendance at entertainment .(traffic management, line / path control, seating guests, guiding guestsenter / exit, etc.).
checking tickets, directing people to theirassigned seats, distributing programmes, answering questions and assistingpeople in finding restrooms and refreshments.
Excellent oral and written communicationsskills, combined with a strong customer service orientation are essential.
Arrive on-time, in appropriate dress for allscheduled shifts.
Understand and perform duties ofassignment, per established policies and procedures. Ask questions if uncertainof anything.
Monitor physical surroundings in assignedarea prior to and throughout event for safety, cleanliness and functionality.
Respond quickly and courteously to patrons’needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and / or action. If theissue cannot be resolved, promptly notify management.
Provide accurate information to patronsregarding venue logistics (i.e. restrooms, phones, concessions, etc.), detailsabout the event.
