About the Technical Support Internship
Perophs has an opening for a Technical Support intern role intended for a fresh graduate interested in gaining work experience and indulging in an important step to building a solid career.
The objective of our internship program is to foster future leaders within our team while helping young professionals grow their skills, and experience life in a dynamic fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities
The Intern would support in the following task :
Assist customers and the support team with issues that involve aspects of the product that requires a deeper dive into the underlying technology.
Master multiple product areas, be a point of contact for specific product areas across the entire support unit, and collaborate closely with the Product and Development teams to represent the needs of customers.
Represent the support team to ensure serviceability and product quality issues are being tracked, prioritized, resolved, and incorporated into the product / feature release cycle.
Escalate critical customer situations to the appropriate level of management and engineering expertise.
Communicate technical issues and solutions to the engineering, QA, and the support team.
Contribute to documentation and knowledgebase article library.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to think about evolving our customer experiences with our web presence and web systems.
Qualifications
Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major is preferred but not critical.
The age range must be between 18-25 years
Fresh graduate (NYSC member or post NYSC graduate)
Desired Skills
Good troubleshooting ability
Excellent understanding of basic technical fundamentals
Exposure to SQL
Excellent analysis and debugging skill
Ability to function as an individual contributor and / or a member of a team
Highly motivated with a desire to learn
Ability to multitask
A strong passion for the technology sector in Nigeria
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent time-management skills
Good communication skills (great command of written and spoken English)
