Job Title : Maintenance Technician (FMCG)

Location : Shagamu, Ogun State.

Job Summary : As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for executing daily, weekly and periodic maintenance activities for tools and equipment involved in the blending and dosing section, sachet packing, kegs and pet bottles filling operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Accountable for spare parts, tools and equipment

Responsible for executing daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance of the production line equipment. Fills up maintenance check sheets and submits to maintenance supervisor on after each task is completed.

Responsible for daily checks on utilities such as pumps, panels and tanks, carry out the CLIT (cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection and Tightening activities) on the machines.

Responsible for machine changeover in cooperation with the machine operator and ensure proper machine settings, coding (as verified by QA) is done.

Carry out emergency repairs of any machine during operation that do not conform to performance, quality or safety.

Ensure the proper operation of the machines, accessories and utilities with minimum downtime.

Responsible for periodic maintenance of coding machines and calibration of weighing scales

Conducts maintenance activities in accordance with proper safety, maintenance SOPs and GMP / housekeeping

Ensure that panels, tools and spare parts are well-kept, clean, and organized at all times.

Ensure that SOPs are strictly adhered to and carry out any food safety / GMP improvement tasks assigned by the engineering supervisor

Responsible for supporting installation of new machines.

Ability to maintain at least 90% machine efficiency for all machines placed under care.

Ensure unplanned machine downtown of less than 15 minutes per shift

Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection and Tightening Execution of 100%

Requirements

Minimum of OND. Technical education background is preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in Oil packing operations.

Apt attention to details.

Excellent morals and work ethics.

Quick to make sound decisions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Great organizational skills.

Apt analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work as a team as well as independently.

Requirements

Minimum of OND. Technical education background is preferred. At least 3 years of experience in Oil packing operations. Apt attention to details.
