About the role
They are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Clinical and amp; Laboratory Informatics who will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of information systems for eHA Clinics and Labs.
You will work closely with their CEO, the Director of Global Health Informatics, eHA Clinic administrators, and other members of the senior management team to create systems that meet the unique needs of primary health care services in Nigeria.

As Product Owner for clinical and laboratory systems (EMR, ERP, LIMS and 3rd-party applications (e.g. supply chain and telemedicine), set priorities for development and maintain the overall roadmap and deployment schedule
Ensure EHA Clinics digital health strategy and implementation increases revenue through customer acquisition and retention while keeps EHA Clinics at the leading edge of technology and innovation
Identify staffing requirements, supervises the hiring, onboarding, and training processes
Define and implement the information system architecture including security and multi-tenancy
Define and implement procedures for quality assurance, configuration change control, and disaster recovery
Assess and adopt information system standards and best practices to ensure interoperability
Ensure compliance with standards for data security and patient privacy
Oversee the use of Help Desk and DevOps personnel for clinic support
Contribute to business strategy planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts
Use analysis tools and skills to report operational metrics and to perform special analyses

How Important are you to the bottom line?
You will maintain overall responsibility for the safety, security, effectiveness, and scalability of eHA Clinic and Lab information systems and device interfaces.

You will be required to work with technical product managers to translate eHA Clinic informatics strategy into compelling and actionable product requirements.
What do you need to have done In your career?
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
Background in enterprise architecture and agile software development methodology
10+ years of experience developing enterprise-class solutions for mission-critical use cases
Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and to motivate individual staff. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills.
Provides great attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a cross-functional management team.
Creativity and the ability to successfully manage multiple assignments independently
Proven ability to work with diverse and large teams and to foster a positive working environment with local and international stakeholders
Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate via writing, public speaking, and interpersonal interactions
Good learning ability. Action-oriented and resilient in a fast-paced environment
Experience with open-source EMR and laboratory information systems a strong plus
Computer Skills :
Conversant in business process modeling frameworks (e.g. BPMN)
Expert in Python and / or Java
Familiarity with ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding of accessibility and security compliance depending on the specific project
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python and / or Java
Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
Language Ability :
English is the spoken and written language
Ability to read, analyze, proof-read, and edit documents, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or government regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the executive and senior managers, employees, the general public, and clients / partners.
Mathematical Aptitude :
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Group Life Assurance : EHA Clinics provides life insurance for you as our employee. This insurance is payable in the event of your death.
The effective date of coverage will be upon successful completion of your probationary period.
Group and amp; Personal Accident : EHA Clinics provides Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (ADD) for you as our employee.
AD and amp;D covers death by accidental means (rather than natural causes) and dismemberment. The effective date of coverage is your hire date.
Pension : EHA Clinics supports employee retirement preparation and investment by paying a 10% pension contribution on top of the statutory pension contribution of 8% that is already factored into your salary.
Annual Leave : You are entitled to 21 days paid annual leave accrued at 1.75 days / month. Employees may begin scheduling leave with their direct supervisor upon the successful completion of their probationary period.
