Job overview

Focal point for the Company’s contracting requirements in order to ensure that business undertakings are put in place on the most cost-

effective and minimal risk basis, all in accordance with the Company Procedures and all appropriate procurement legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare final contract documents (pre or post award) and internal recommendations; review or drafting of contractual correspondences concerning events that have an impact on the execution of project & Manage correspondence and its recording
  • Be responsible for day-to-day running of main contracts, including contract performance, and contractual awareness of the team.
  • This may include : rate reviews, amendment, variation, contract performance management, completion / handover, analyze the deliverables (procedures, technical documentation, guaranties, schedule, insurances etc ) to be provided within the contractual deadline

  • Support and advise the project manager to formalize contract changes, by preparing risk overviews and commercial summaries (liaise with all functions : planning, costs, project manager, legal etc.).
  • Claim management, dispute resolution;
  • Maintain various logs as required to facilitate the proper administration of the contract (e.g. register of communication, register of disruptions, change order register, follow up of risk and opportunities and propose mitigation plan, etc.)
  • Assist the team in the monthly project review control
  • Profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law or technical
  • 10 Overall relevant work experience, of which minimum 5 years at a similar position in the EPC project construction sector, in Oil&Gas industry
  • Good knowledge of standard forms of contracts, contractual risk evaluations, contractual negotiations, a knowledge in common law is a plus.
