The incumbent will be responsible for engineering of one or more Turbomachinery engineering projects, in the Oil & Gas and Power industries, including project specification, design, functionality, testing and commissioning.
Supports Project Manager (and / or Lead Engineer) in developing detailed engineering and scoping deliverables for potential applications projects including work package identification, estimation & planning.
Assists customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements.
Interprets customer technical specifications and generates turbomachinery control strategies for implementation in engineering.
using logic drawings, control narratives and the basis of design documents to contribute to logic development; performing system testing and factory acceptance testing and developing test documents for all projects as required.
Coordinates and / or participates in on-site engineering, start-up and application commissioning.
Ensure customer's budgetary and scheduling requirements are met, as outlined by the Project Manager.
Consults with 3rd party vendors to define technical requirements and interface.
Interfaces with remote resources to ensure high-quality and accurate deliverables
Anticipates changes in project deliverables and timing and works with the Project Manager (and / or Lead Engineer) to re-contract, secure additional resources, or identify opportunities to increase scope of work
Identifies project risk factors and puts in place plans and actions to mitigate them
Interfacing with customers on technical details; and providing customer support on assigned projects and future project needs.
Refer customer requests to company specialists (consultants) as required, to ensure smooth delivery of the solution
Ensures that the project team complies with TMC technical engineering processes and that deliverables adhere to quality standards
Evaluates project documentation and implementation for consistency and reusability.
