Job Description Summary

Be the lead architect for Basecone and drive the architecture discipline across teams and projects. Under limited supervision, he / she is able to deliver architecture analysis and documentation for native cloud-based solutions.

The Software Architect in Basecone will be engaging actively with the development teams, the product team, the CTO and the external partners, to ensure software architecture principles and patterns are applied and documented for all Basecone major initiatives.

The Software Architect will collect and document functional and non-functional requirements, using state-of -he-art tools like : Lucid Chart, Confluence, Jira, Github etc...

The software architect will also deliver investigations and PoC to help Basecone innovating in its technology roadmap.

This role will also coordinate our Architecture Guild helping Basecone building a strong and solid architecture vision for the years ahead.

Main requirements

We need someone who can help us shaping the future in terms of integration of all these services, but also evolution of the architecture components we use.

Our architecture has recently evolved towards event-driven integration and data lake, to expand our technology platform and support the growing needs of our business.

We are using the best tools in the market like Jira, Confluence, Github, azure DevOps, New Relic, elastic search / kibana, Redis, SqlServer, etc

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an outstanding hands-on technical background in cloud solutions and wants to move into full-time architecture, or has been already an architect and wants to help us shaping our future projects.

Nice to have

Technical background with .Net Core and Cloud environment (AWS), already being a Solution Architect, with AWS certification.
