Department Description
Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) is a new alignment of existing teams that focuses on the development of investment products and services, and their distribution to wholesale, institutional, intermediaries and other B2B clients.
It is managed as a separate business from Fidelity’s Platform Business which offers a range of products and services that help end investors improve their financial health.
Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) includes Investment Management teams for Equity, Fixed Income, Multi Asset and Real Estate asset classes, Distribution teams that cover UK & Europe, Asia Pacific including Japan and Australia, a global Product Development team and the COO organisation for ISS.
Purpose of your Role
As the Investment Management (IM) Planning & Implementation Senior Manager , you will be responsible for providing the analysis, recommendations and implementation support necessary realize the strategic goals of the asset management team.
Initiatives will vary immensely with evolving business needs and regulatory changes. Implementation approach and requirements will oftentimes be driven by the outcome of your analysis and recommendations.
As such, there is no prescriptive methodology across all initiatives. A successful approach will be structured and methodical while maintaining the maximum level of flexibility and responsiveness to a rapidly changing input and requirements set.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a deep understanding of our current & future investment capabilities, product & operational platform, business strategy and core asset management teams, execute a variety of initiatives and bring an informed perspective to discussions on internal and external strategy.
You will develop a close partnership with leaders and organisations outside of your immediate team to enable you to compile and provide data and information that will influence decisions at a senior level.
Key stakeholders are the Investment Management leadership team, including the CAO, CIOs and global / regional department heads, including the Global Head of Sustainable Investing.
Working closely with these stakeholders and other internal stakeholders, outstanding analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential to your success.
