Main Purpose of Job :
The Agile Software project Manager combines principles of both the ScrumMaster and Project Manager into one role. They provide leadership and coaching to enable effective collaboration and self-
organization of software development teams and QA teams to include leading and monitoring the daily Scrum, working closely with the Product Owner while collaborating with the
business and the Scrum team. This position will be responsible for mentoring Agile practices on the Scrum team; and works closely with subject matter experts to lead project efforts and build solutions.
They also own the management of the execution of the project from Plan to Close, including project coordination, communication, and collaboration among project team
members. This includes the formulation of timelines, milestones, and project plans, as well as extensive coordination with departments such as IT, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Client Services and Accounting in order to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1.1 Duties Execute Scrum Master tasks across multiple teams and provide direct team support on improving team planning skills,adherence to the various ceremonies and cadence of daily, iteration, and release-level meetings.
Create and distribute regular reports on project progress, blockers, milestones, and resource needs.
Help identify and clear roadblocks for multiple SCRUM teams.
Communicate effectively and consistently with all project stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments.
Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.
Assist Project Sponsor and teams in identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities within a project.
Facilitate the definition of project scope and deliver a detailed plan for a successful outcome based on project objectives.
Facilitate cross-project coordination and support resolution of cross-project issues and dependencies.
Ensure that the project follows the defined Project Lifecycle Process, including appropriate escalation and communication to the Project Sponsor and Portfolio Governance Committee.
Make certain Project Lifecycle documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Lead lessons learned at the conclusion of projects; identify people, process and technology improvements to be made as a way to elevate the performance of future project teams.
Promote transparency at all times regarding project status, issues and risks to stakeholders, including but not limited to the Portfolio Governance Committee.
Educate other project team members and stakeholders on the Project Lifecycle Process and Agile Methodologies through both formal and informal training.
Gain consensus on decisions and ensure delivery of high quality results.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Agile In depth understanding of Agile, its values and principles, including backlog grooming,
release and sprint planning, burn-up / down charts, and more. Experience working
with distributed teams. Able to engage effectively with technical development
resources and foster communication.
Project Management Effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities
appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames. Ability to
work in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Planning Analytical and structured thinker. Able to develop detailed project plans with owners,
timing, dependencies, and performance and success metrics.

Location This is an office based role at the US headquarters in Hendersonville, TN.
Travel Expectation of less than 5% travel in support of projects.
Agile Project Manager

Qualifications & Experience
Scrum Master Five plus years’ Scrum Master experience required for a software development team.
Must be actively certified as a Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance.
Project Management Three plus years’ Project Management experience required. Minimum of one years’ experience leading / managing IT development projects.
Computer Skills Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Project; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical field required or a combination of
education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis.
Project Management Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile Certified Practitioner
PMI-ACP), or completion of another recognized project management certification.
