Our client is a world-leading multinational renewable energy company. They are looking to hire a Head of Human Resources to be based in Cotonou, Benin.
The role of the Human Resources Director is to define, validate, manage and monitor the achievement of the company's HR strategy.
He / she takes charge of social relations within the organization and advises and brings expertise to the various operational departments.
This position is open to applicants all over West Africa.
Dialogue with general management about the company's strategy to learn about general objectives in terms of sales development and growth methods.
Obtain their expectations and needs from company management regarding human resources issues.
Follow the evolution of HR strategies of companies of similar size and keep abreast of innovations.
Set on the basis of all this information, the company's HR strategy and the validation by the management.
Define the strategy by HR issue and set objectives
Recruit the employees placed under his responsibility .
Motivate and supervise its teams and develop their skills.
Set the strategic course and define the objectives by major issues.
Boost major projects / HR projects.
Piloting the Talent management policy ( score market and in the company)
Optimizing the management of the company's performance
Design support and planning for talent development and manage succession plans
Reconcile the personal and professional aspirations of employees with the company's strategy.
Manage administrative management and the company's compliance with legal requirements Monitor legal and Human Resources developments
Facilitate the psycho-social risk prevention approach
Facilitate the well-being at work committee
Pilot an annual Quality of Life at Work plan
Pilot the bi- monthly Well-being Survey and implement corrective and improvement actions
Make employees aware of the Institution's social responsibility (CSR)
Staff awareness of issues relating to health and safety , the environment and sustainable development planning issues in child welfare and protection of heritage (axes chosen by the company CSR) through communication, training and open discussions.
Propose actions aimed at encouraging employees to adopt socially responsible behavior, eco-friendly actions, and involvement in the vitality of the territory;

Skills & Requirements
12 years of experience.
Knowledge of French and a good level of English
BAC + 5 Human Resources Labor Law, Management or Management / Any other equivalent diploma
Conduct a human resources policy
Design an action plan
Pilot operations related to the management of jobs and skills
Organize consultation and social dialogue with staff members or their representatives
Suggest areas for improvement
