Our Client is an integrated indigenous EPCI company in Nigeria construction and engineering services to the energy sector, they currently have the following vacancyfor a suitably qualified person to join its team.

SUMMARY

Primarilyresponsible for the development and design of electrical control systems,produce the required documents, drawings / schematics, and procedures related tothe electrical systems.

Will also be responsible for monitoring and reportingon activities whilst ensuring that team work safely to deliver on key tasks andtargets.

ROLE

  • Leads the Electrical Engineering team.
  • Supports the electrical and control equipment both onshore and offshore to ensure that it remains efficient and productive.
  • Assures performance through clear metrics.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design and develop effective electricaland control systems
  • Provides technical support andguidance to offshore or on-site teams.
  • Monitors the performance of theelectrical, instrument, automation and communication systems.
  • Ensures that electrical andelectronic systems meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Carries out manual and computeranalysis.
  • Reviews and comments onsupplier information and assist with inspection and testing.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Oil and Gas design, project or construction industries with control and instrumentation responsibilities.
  • Experience in engineering, pipeline, and project management services in the oil and gas sector preferred.
  • Degree in related Engineering discipline. Professional accreditation is a plus.
  • An effective influencer at senior management levels.
