Job Description br br Title Director of Human Resources br Reports to Project President br br Overview br The Director of Human Resources has primary responsibility for all personnel compliance employee relations labor relations and staff development affirmative action and equal employment opportunity functions of the company and provides advice and counsel to leaders on a range of personnel matters The Director also participates in Human Resources initiatives and ensures delivery of system 45 wide services br br br Typical Duties amp Responsibilities of Position br Plan develop and implement strategy for HR management and development including Recruitment and selection policy practices br Strategizing the appropriate organization structure 45 company level amp department level br Take care of Recruitment for all levels br Evolving appropriate HR policies br Ensuring implementation of HRD System currently being evolved br Evolution of compensation structure amp Fitment criteria br Periodic review of compensation structure for Managers and staff br Manpower planning and creation of the hiring plan br Budgeting activities Expense amp Investment br Directly responsible for maintaining peaceful and Harmonious relations between the management and all associates br Responsible for reviewing our current Employee Engagement and Retention management programs and then accordingly plan and implement programs to fill in the gaps br Ensure effective implementation of the disciplinary and grievance procedures for all employee groups br br Other related duties as assigned br br Minimum Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities br Knowledge of br Principles practices and techniques of human resources administration organization and operation br Fully proficient knowledge of state and federal employment law br Principles and practices of effective management training and supervision br Methods and techniques for professional record keeping writing reporting and project management br Enterprise resource systems br Must quickly develop a solid working knowledge of Board of Trustee policies and procedures collective bargaining agreements and memoranda of understanding br br Skills br Excellent interpersonal communication facilitation and conflict mediation skills br Solid computer technology skills br Researching data collection manipulation and reporting skills br br Ability to br Effectively plan implement and manage assigned programs and functions br Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organizational br Lead manage direct and evaluate staff br Supervise and participate in the establishment of department and organization goals objectives and methods for evaluating achievement and performance levels br Implement explain and apply applicable policies procedures laws codes and regulations br Accurately analyze interpret and evaluate complex administrative and technical issues and data and make appropriate recommendations for action br Make oral presentations to clearly convey information and concepts br Work independently and as a part of a team and ensure safe work practices br br Education and or Experience br Required br Bachelor s degree in human resources business public administration or closely related field or unrelated degree plus two additional years of relevant experience br Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible salaried Human Resources administrative and supervisory experience br Must project and uphold the highest ethical standards and have demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills br br Preferred br Master s degree in related area and or HR Certification or advanced training br Experience in higher education or non 45 profit HR and in collective bargaining environment br br Bachelor s degree in human resources business public administration or closely related field or unrelated degree plus two additional years of relevant experience br Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible salaried Human Resources administrative and supervisory experience br Must project and uphold the highest ethical standards and have demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills br br Preferred br Master s degree in related area and or HR Certification or advanced training br Experience in higher education or non 45 profit HR and in collective bargaining environment
