    Prime Responsibilities

    Responsible for coordinating, supervising, managing and delivering all construction activities and overall Mechanical Completion of the project in consonance with all contract specification, requirements and project quality, HSE / budgetary objectives.

    To coordinate and review Client project construction drawings, specification verification and site survey prior to preparation of engineering materials evaluation.

    To Plan, Schedule and Manage all Project / Construction effort and resources and sub-contractors to ensure economic and efficient utilisation of resources to safely drive project workforce to achieve project scope within budget and cost.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of First Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.Masters qualification, Project Management certification / membership of COREN an added advantage.

    Experience :

    10-15 years’ experience in directing field construction and shop fabrication for major projects in the oil & gas construction.

    Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in current position.

    Prime Responsibilities

    Responsible for manpower planning, forecasting coordinating, supervising, managing and delivering all construction activities and overall Mechanical Completion of the project in consonance with all contract specifications, requirements and project quality, HSE / budgetary objectives.

    To ensure that plant and workforce are available to meet the requirements of the Contract Master Schedule (CMS).To ensure labour forecasting is carried out with Construction Discipline Engineers with consideration to overall cost forecast.

    To identify suitable personnel for further development and identify training requirements.

    Experience :

    10-15 years or more experiences in directing field Construction work, Project Structural, Piping and Mechanical in the oil & gas.

    Understand and be able to interpret contracts and reviews contractual documentation.Review and contribute to the Detailed Design contractor’s production of the mechanical deliverables.

    Manage all welding and associated activities carried out within assigned work area.Identify manpower and timeline requirements for the assigned work pack via the weekly resource plan working in conjunction with planning engineers.

    Ensure completed welds are of satisfactory appearance / cleanliness and suitable for Visual Inspections / Non Destructive Testing (NDT).

    Ensure Daily Welding Records are being raised on a daily basis for each welder, ensuring each weld is logged and the information cascaded to QA / QC.

    Ensure all welders are conversant with the Welding Procedure Specifications to which they are working.Ensure random monitoring of welding controls as detailed in the Welding ProcedureEnsure specifications (WPSs) during the welding cycle.

    Experience

    7-10 years or more experience in all processes of welding, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW and CRA for major onshore / offshore Projects in the oil & gas or construction industries.

    As the Hook-up and Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for managing the engineering and execution for the installation and hook-

    Produce planning deliverables in accordance with the project timetable of phased implementation from engineering / procurement / construction / pre-

    commissioning / commissioning data.Assemble planning deliverables by early engagement with the project team so as to prepare the work-

    scope within a timely manner to maintain the schedule.Produce deliverables based on alerting the project to potential schedule difficulties.

    Propose mitigation solutions based on what if scenarios run in Primavera Project Planning software.Produce interface planning deliverables in accordance with the project timetable of phased implementation from engineering / procurement / construction / pre-

    Responsible for stewarding contractors performance, engaging / aligning key stakeholders, engaging discipline engineers and expert resources from the global experts, as required, to complete the assigned scope consistent with the projects objectives.

    Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, across sites and between key stakeholders.Oversee EPC / FEED level engineering, procurement, execution planning through to completion and start up.
