Support the development and implementation of HR policies, initiatives and systems
Provide counseling and guidance on adherence to policies and procedures
Prepare job descriptions for old and hires
Create and implement effective onboarding plans
Liaise with external partners including vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements regarding Pension, PAYE, HMO etc.
Handle Payroll taking into account leave, sick days and absences
Develop training and development programs
Assist in performance management processes
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
Maintain employee records (attendance, leave etc.) according to policy and statutory requirements
Review employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with company policy
Oversee the office administration, managing inventory of office supplies etc.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Proven experience as HR Generalist, administrator or other HR position
Knowledge of all HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a an added advantage
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

Strong ethics and reliability
BSc / BA in Industrial relations and personnel management, business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
