They currently have an opening for an Engineering Project Manager
Reports to : Regional Industrial Manager
Responsible for planning and implementing of engineering projects on time within budget and scope in accordance with our client's Business plan.
Provide coaching and developing project team. Drive Manufacturing Excellence Mission for our client at a regional level, with main focus on Nigeria and Ghana.
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from reputed University (MBA preferred).
10-15 years total experience with a minimum 6 -8 years of experience in Food processing or Diary industry, with overall project management responsibility.
The candidate should have "hands on experience in handling engineering projects.
To drive project designing, Capex formulation for backward integration project. Deliver projects in existing manufacturing (Sango, Lagos, Tema, Oran factory) including growth and non-growth Capex.
Manage greenfield project evaluation, due diligence of machinery along with all techno commercial aspects & negotiation with vendors.
Establishes the cadence of engineering milestones within program(s) and develops detailed engineering project plans. Works with matrixed, functional engineering organization, to ensure alignment of scope and deliverables, to provide clear accountability to quality, cost and timing commitments.
Maintains project documentation throughout lifetime of development projects. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
Developing MEM (Manufacturing Excellence Mission) (i.e.,) Continuous Improvement Project’. Develop vendors to ensure projects are executed efficiently & with optimum resources.
Monitor working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment for the factories.
Ensures that all the regulatory requirements pertaining to key equipment’s are met.
