Strategy and Business Planning

  • Assist with the development, implementation and updates of the business strategy in line with the broader Retail Banking strategic agenda.
  • Drive specific aspects of Retail Banking strategy as directed by the Head of Retail Banking.
  • Implement, track and report on management objectives for the Head of Retail Banking.
  • Take an active role in identifying issues, structuring work plans, conducting research, synthesising conclusions, making presentations, and helping implement change.
  • Organise and coordinate key business meetings and follow up on actions, create and deliver reporting and presentations as required.
  • Assist in the development of annual budget.
  • Support RBMT and unit heads in the implementation & monitoring of key business initiatives.
  • Ensure key meetings are properly coordinated, with actions tracked for execution.
  • Performance Management

  • Work with the Business Finance Partner to effectively track and manage Retail Banking performance.
  • Prepare performance management briefing packs and presentations for Country Management, EXCO, Board as and when required.
  • Keep and maintain adequate records of all business performance management data
  • Assist with planning and performance of key people management processes, ensuring appropriate tracking / follow-up mechanism in place to track progress against strategic priorities.
  • Take up regular and ad-hoc reporting
  • Financial Performance

  • Drive initiatives from the office of the Head of Retail Banking to achieve the business’ full year budget.

  • Ability to work on broad strategic initiatives and day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to engage stakeholders well in both one-to-one relationship and team environment
