We're looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our tech team, bringing with you a broad range of experiences and a passion for cloud technologies and practices.
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing our teams with the necessary platforms and tools to power the Brand Hub, our Digital Assets Management platform.
Within the tech team, we're transforming how we deliver our product to the clients. Our DevOps Engineer is a key player in that transformation, ensuring our strategy isn't just a great aspiration for the way we work, but that it's genuinely driving the behaviours and practices of our teams in everything they do.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the availability, performance and readiness of our test and production environments to support our release aspirations
Manage our cloud environment in Azure
Maintain and enhance our monitoring and observability stack, ensuring we can provide a real time view on availability and performance.
Expand and maintain our CI / CD pipelines
Support our QA engineers and automation testing suite
Own, track and provide regular updates on all environment issues through to resolution.
Be part of an on-call rota between 17 : 30-23 : 00 on weekdays
Be a force for innovation and change, contributing to the platform roadmap
Main requirements
Experience with Kubernetes and containers
Experience scripting in a language such as Powershell, Python or Bash
An understanding of devops philosophy’
Familiarity with a CI / CD system ( Azure Devops, Gitlab, Jenkins etc)
Experience with a major cloud provider (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, ports, proxies, etc)
Has previously managed both Windows and Linux infrastructure
Understanding of the C# or Java ecosystem (MSBuild / Nuget or Gradle / Maven)
Familiar with infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform / Ansible
Understands GitOps methodology
