Our client is a multinational agro- allied company, they are into the production of agro-chemical products. They are currently in need of a General Manager.

The Incumbent would be responsible in managing the market entry of Zytonic-M (bioloigy booster) across the country and in the nearest future, the West African sub-region.
The Job responsibilities would also include supply chain management, and our agribusiness consulting. The Service team will consist of other geo-political zone managers, sales agronomist and interns.
Key Deliverables
Strategic Effectiveness :
o Determine the strategic direction and manage the day-to-day operations of the company
o II. Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose marketing programme to improve the product footprint of Zytonic in Nigeria.
Oversee marketing and sales, human resources and stakeholder management.
Manage my client demonstration farms and coordinate the development of marketing communication suitable for attracting farmers across the country.
Manage warehouse operations including customer service, supply chain and logistics.
Operational Effectiveness
Warehouse Operations :
Maintain a culture of safety at the warehouse and hold all employees accountable to our Standard Operating Procedure (SoP).
Maintain proper inventory of products at the warehouse.
Ensure excellent customer service standard at the warehouse at all times.
Manage an effective logistics system to ensure customers receive products timely.
Maintain solid relationship with all vendors and suppliers.
Financial, Administration and other related activities :
Oversee customer acquisition and management for both Zytonic-M and our agribusiness consulting practice across the country.
Timeously advise the Senior Partner (Finance) of any anticipated deviations to plans and budget.
Oversee all administration departments and functions.
Oversee hiring of new employees.
Maintain a healthy relationship with External Stakeholders, Government, Nigerian Police and Local Community Chiefs and the community.
Supply chain operations :
Maintain relationship with the export team in India.
Maintain relationship with shipping company to ensure smooth clearing and delivery of Zytonic-M to customers and clients’ locations.
Maintain a SoP for the shipping of product from manufacturers to our warehouse(s).
Job Requirements :
Minimum qualification of a BSc degree in Agricultural science.
4 years of sound practical farming experience.
Must possess strong leadership abilities in order to lead, motivate and mentor a team of talented multinational Managers who would be reporting to him.
Out of the box thinker and finds solutions to challenges presented by circumstances that arise.
Have a keen eye for neatness and build on an image of a world-class operation.
Have a keenness for nature conservation.
