Description
Ensure and monitor the safety of personnel and installations as well as protection of the environment.
Carry out preliminary, basic and detailed engineering studies / in-house design for the Civil and Structural Engineering discipline for on / offshore projects.
Prepares Civil and Structural General Arrangement Drawings, Specifications, Material Take Of (Design Reports, and other relevant deliverables.
Interface with Procurement Dept., Survey and Geomatics, and Projects & Construction sections for resolution of Civil and Structural Engineering concerns.
Support Technical Evaluation of Civil / Structural Engineering Contractors / Vendors.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification : B.Sc. / B.Eng. (Structures) with 10 - 15 years' experience in an Engineering Organization in a similar design position.
Use of AutoCAD & proficiency in use of SACS, STAADPro, NSO / ISYMOST (Fastrudl, Isymost) are a must.
Knowledge of AVEVA E3D and Microstation as well ability prepare detailed structural drawings a plus.
Demonstrable knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (British Standards, Eurocodes, ISO, API, DNV, etc.).
Good Communication in English and Interpersonal skills.
Primary Skills :
B.Sc. / B.Eng. Structures, AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D and Microstation, Interpersonal Skills, "SACS, STAADPro, NSO / ISYMOST".
