Untapped has initiated a special project, VoltAfrica, to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility (e-mobility) in Africa.
VoltAfrica’s goal is to look at identifying, designing and prototyping one or several technological solutions that will facilitate the flow of capital towards innovative and decarbonised mobility in Africa, ultimately supporting entrepreneurs and participating in economic growth.
About the role
Untapped is looking for a Product Manager / business analyst (5-7 years’ experience) to join its high-paced team to design a viable technological solution which will contribute to accelerating e-mobility adoption in Africa.
This technological solution will enable the following objectives in the e-mobility market :
Developing a framework which makes it safer and easier for international investors to invest in e-mobility assets in Africa, including vehicles and charging infrastructure
Facilitating and optimising the management of assets (tracking, charging, and maintenance)
Making electric vehicles more affordable (by realising the lower cost of ownership of electric vehicles)
De-risking and formalising the sector
Allowing for more efficiency and transparency
The objective is to have a viable demonstrator by mid-2023. The Product Manager will be working in collaboration with the CEO and CTO of Untapped Global and with the Managing Director of VoltAfrica.
