About The Role :
The Trimble Connect team is looking for a developer advocate to create first class developer experiences with Trimble Connect API and SDK products.
The users of our platform ( System integrators, software developers, Technical Product Managers, etc.) need to be able to discover solutions, understand them quickly, integrate, and be confident that the solution is reliable and well supported.
To accomplish this, you’ll create reference applications, code samples, tutorials, and technical documentation while being able to communicate this content through documentation created in a content management system, blog post, forum, or live event.

You then relay some critical feedback to the engineering team regarding the API reference you used to create the sample code.
After completing the reference application, you create a short tutorial video on how to get started using the reference application and the applicable APIs.
Now having built up some good materials, you host a webinar around different workflows for that API product.
Collaborate with teams including product, engineering, marketing, sales, and others to understand their perspectives, use cases, and workflows.
Create construction industry-related content in a wide variety of formats including code samples, reference applications, demos, and tutorials to make it easier for developers to learn, adopt, and integrate the solution.
Be the voice of the developers consuming the APIs and SDKs and represent them internally across teams.
Write or revise technical documentation to be clear and consistent.
Engage the developer community through various means such as forums, social media, bug tracking, and events.
Develop standards and guidelines for teams to follow regarding best practices when communicating technical materials.
Attend online and in person events such as conferences, user groups, etc
