Over 1.7B people around the world do not have access to basic financial services. Kudi’s mission is to make financial services accessible and affordable to all Africans across the world.

Kudi started from Nigeria, a $300B cash payment market. We’re currently digitizing cash payments for over 1million Nigerians with our Chatbot and 14,000 agent points across the country.

In just two years, we have grown and currently process over $80m in monthly payments, more than ₦1Billion in daily transactions.

Our goal is to bank over 10 million Nigerians in the next 12 months.

In furtherance to this mission, we are seeking passionate, goal-oriented individuals to join our team. We are looking for a People Operations Manager to take ownership of all human-

related matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development.

To perform well in this role, you MUST have experience as an HR manager or other senior roles in the HR team, be resilient at getting result, passionate and superawesome at building high performing teams, conflict management and mediation strategies, good at building good culture within an organisation and have the requirement to lead great teams.

HR Manager Responsibilities :

  • Consistently create and build globally competitive hiring standards;
  • Developing HR planning strategies with line managers by considering immediate and long-term staff requirements;
  • Recruitments : Competitive turn-around time on hiring as well as the quality of hires. Leveraging on all available resources to get top global talents.

    Interpreting and advising on employment legislation; develop and implement policies on a variety of workplace issues e.g.

    disciplinary procedures, absence management, working conditions, performance management and equal opportunities

    Building and maintaining the organisational culture and ensuring that it becomes a lifestyle for all

    Listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures

    Analysing training needs in conjunction with line managers; planning and delivering training, including staff inductions.

    Creating clear and concise reports.

    Giving helpful and engaging presentations.

    HR Manager Requirements :

    Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.

    Human Resources Certifications or MBA from a recognised institution

    Minimum of 3-4years experience in human resources.

    MUST have worked in the Fintech space

    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

    Experience in educating and coaching staff.

    Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.

    Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.

    Ability to give presentations.

    Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
