Project Description
In 2017, TechnoServe partnered with the Rockefeller Foundation and Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture to improve the livelihoods of smallholder tomato farmers in Nigeria by addressing the root causes of high post-harvest loss rates and low yields.
A three-year project, YieldWise will improve the livelihoods of 35,000 smallholder tomato farmers by providing training on good agricultural practices (GAP), introducing technology innovations to reduce post-harvest losses, and facilitating linkages to quality input sources and produce markets.
