Role Summary :

Baker Hughes, a GE Company as an excitingopportunity for a Technical Support Specialist (Coiled Tubing) to join our teamin Nigeria.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Coiled Tubing TechnicalSupport Specialist will plan and execute all phases of the project. He will beAccountable for managing the business within the assigned account incoordination with the appropriate business segment management includingtracking performance, identifying opportunities for improvement by seekingfeedback.
  • Prepare job recommendationsbased on the job criteria, knowledge and past performance.
  • Prepare the coiled tubingprograms for routine development, work or special conditions
  • Begins to provide technical selling and product application recommendations on division's products.
  • Measures product performance and recommends design modifications to existing products.
  • Under broad directiondetermines and develops resolution to an assortment of problems encountered atthe rig or well site of moderately complex scope where analysis of situationsor data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Performs additional dutieswithin the region as instructed by the technical manager.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering. Prior oilfield experience or completion of divisionalinternship program preferred
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Strongoral and written communication skills.
  • Abilityto coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effectiveproblem identification and solution skills.
  • Generalknowledge of basic engineering and business principles.
  • Knowledgeof metallurgy, materials and petroleum engineering concepts
