Scope of work

As a Commissioning ICSS Engineer, your main missions will be to :

  • Commissioning preparation phase Review and approve the preparation of all Commissioning procedures and OTP, the ICAPS Pre-
  • commissioning and Commissioning population, the Transfer dossiers & certificates, punch list control and planning.Validate ICSS Functional Analysis.

    Validate all the OTP’s related to the ICSS.Ensure the remaining FAT carry over punch list are timely cleared on site.

  • Commissioning execution phase
  • Review Pre-commissioning dossiers prior Commissioning and AOC dossiers prior to transfer to Operation.
  • Validate the AOC for the relevant ICSS Sub-systems.
  • Validate and ensure that modifications are implemented through appropriate Engineering Query, control the modifications implemented and verify permanently the status of the deliverables Red Line Mark Up.
  • Control vendor ICSS and Package Control System.
  • Ensure correct communication between ICSS and other Package Control Systems.
  • Ensure that file software masters are regularly updated and back-upped.
  • Assist the Commissioning technicians and panel operators in the operation of ICSS and Package Control Systems during loop checking and Commissioning phases.
  • Validate vendor reports.
  • Follow up closely and expedite the ICSS and Packages Control Systems punch list clearance.
  • Ensure adequate preservation of ICSS and Package Control equipment.
  • Approve and follow up the main EPCC contractor Commissioning spares parts and special tools procurement,
  • Liaise with ICAPS co-ordinator, punch list co-ordinator and system engineers.
  • Maintain updated the Inhibit & Override register until formal transfer to Operation.
  • Qualifications / Background

  • 10 years’ experience in ICSS engineering, construction commissioning, within the oil / gas industry.
  • 5 years’ experience in Commissioning ICSS Lead.
  • Engineering expertise in PCS, ESD, F&G and PLC systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of OPERCOM methodology.
  • Mandatory fluency in French and English.
