    The Millard Fuller Foundation , a housing organization with international affiliation and located in Masaka (near Abuja), is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below :

    Reports to : Executive Director (Projects)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Ensure that MFF estates are maintained and operated efficiently and effectively

    Key Performance Areas :

    Maintenance of grounds, buildings, roads, drains and engineering installationsManagement and disposal of solid & other wasteManage electric power and water usage by residentsOrganize and check repairs and maintenance of boreholes, pumps and other estate equipmentManage reports of nuisance, anti-

    social behavior and process formal and informal complaints in order to ensure excellent customer serviceWork with the security department to ensure adequate security is maintained in the estateUndertake regular estate tours and act on the items identified in order to ensure that areas are kept clean and tidy and that landscaped areas and gardens are properly maintained including identifying the need for improvementsWork in partnership with a range of agencies to ensure effective and joined up tenancy and estate management services are provided to customersEnsure new home owners receive appropriate advice in relation to the property and the estate, payment information and any housing benefit entitlement in order to minimize loss / delays and provide excellent customer serviceLiaise with local authorities and other agencies in order to ensure effective communicationWork with residents’ associations, attending meetings as necessary in order to consult with local communitiesLiaise closely with caretaking, housing-

    care & other employees based on the estate to ensure excellent service to house ownersEnsure properties are being used for their intended purposeAttend meetings and work with other departments and organizations Analyze financial and other data, and write and present reportsKeep up-

    to-date with land management, building control and environmental issuesRecord and notify all risks, deviations from Estate safety standards and any untoward incidentsFire prevention, health, safety and securityAny other duties as may be assigned by the ED

    Educational / Professional Qualification

    BSc or HND in facilities / estate management, construction or other relevant fieldMembership of NIESV or of any Facility / estate management is an added advantage

    Knowledge

    Minimum of 15 years experience in facilities managementMaintaining water reticulation & electric power systemsKnowledge and experience in hospitality managementLandscape management & maintenanceBasic Health, Safety & Environment managementInventory control & managementEquipment maintenance

    Skills :

    Effective communication skillsExcellent negotiation skillsDeveloping Standards & regulationsExcellent Customer service & relationsAbility to supervise others wellAttention to details

    Job Description

    Coordinate security of materials and personnel movements on and off siteBe the staff and customer’s focal point for day-

    to-day project security activitiesBe the internal focal point for all project security mattersCoordinate the development of the project security planMotivate self and others in the project security teamLiaise with security service providers and others in the project logistics team to ensure that secure personnel and material movements are effectively coordinated to minimize potential exposure to lossStrive to add value through innovation, effective team working and efficient use of resourcesReport project security progress and performance in accordance with predefined requirementsAim to exceed specified project delivery targets and stretched targetsContribute to project security personnel development improvement processSupport project information technology enhancement processContribute to the preparation and control of the project logistics and warehouse budgetContribute to project security risk management planPerform every other duty assigned by the CM

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldMinimum 15 years relevant experienceProven leadership experience in corporate security management and investigations and / or leadership experience in law enforcement management and investigationsInternational corporate security leadership and / or international law enforcement leadership experience

    Knowledge

    Must be a decision-maker, meet targets and work underMust be confident with excellent written and oral communication skillsContribute to project security risk management plan

    Skills :

    Ability to design and implement an emergency response planDemonstrates good coaching, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate others to deliver resultsAnalytical, critical reasoning and problem solving skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levelsPhysical security strategies, policies, principles, procedures, and standards.
