Duties and Responsibilities

Information Technology :

The vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiativesProviding strategic oversight on the management of the company website and building interactions that support the business goalThe planning and implementation of enterprise information systems to support the business operationsThe short and long range planning, development and maintenance of integrated information systems, computer training, computer workstations and help desk supportDeveloping network technological solutions on a nation basisProviding strategic and operational oversight of all management information systems (MIS), as well as ensuring linkage and integration of systems, telecommunications, and related technology

Admin and Facility Management :

Providing strategic leadership and management to the Admin and Facility Management department and Asset Protection TeamDirecting the design, planning, construction and maintenance of company facilities and propertiesResponsible for developing budgets and long-

range facilities plans based on company growth and future facility needsOverseeing the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire / life safety, plumbing, and waste managementOverseeing and provides support to the security team of the organizationMonitoring the budget for the departments and providing strategic advise on how to minimize costOverseeing activities for the development, management and delivery of all maintenance programs for facilities and related systems and equipmentDirecting the maintenance, renovation and repair projects of the company's facilitiesExercising a high level of independent judgment in the development and implementation of a comprehensive facility condition assessment, short and long term maintenance plans and preventative maintenance programPrioritizing and coordinates daily maintenance, repair and operational activities throughout the organization

Legal and Compliance :

Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's mattersDeveloping and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programsOverseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and prioritiesMaintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at largeAdvising the Management team on a variety of issues that may arise during the cause of dutyParticipating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management teamManaging a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal departmentPerforming periodic internal audit including risk management and control management over operational effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

Required Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in any of the Social Science coursesA Master's Degree or MBA in Management related courseMinimum of 13 years working experience in a similar role and least 5 should be at managerial levelExperience in Systems implementation, change managementExperience in Organizational Performance Management SystemsExperience in Monitoring and Evaluation FrameworksUnderstanding of legal and secretarial practicesKnowledge of relationship / stakeholder value and management practicesKnowledge of conflict managementDemonstrates expertise in resource management and quality assuranceExcellent analytical skillsAbility to identify key organizational issues

Detailed Job Description

The Financial Controller plays a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in setting the strategic direction for the organization, decision making and operations which includes developing and implementing the financial systems and processed required to support the financial growth and future of the organization.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Financial Controller is to direct and manage all financial aspects of the company strategy and provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating and managing the budget and planning functions to ensure sound financial management of the Group resourcesPreparing of the Group's Divisions monthly profit and loss accountsEnsuring high standards of financial control are maintained in the organizationOverall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systemsEnsuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirementsOverseeing the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, ledger, and account maintenance and data entryCoordinating the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reportsDeveloping and implementing finance, accounting, billing, and auditing proceduresInteracting with other departmental heads to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendationsEnsuring records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standardsDeveloping and directing the implementation of strategic business and / or operational plans, projects, programs, and systemsAnalyzing cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leadersAnalyzing financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areasEstablishing and implementing short-

and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating proceduresPreparing projections annually and update monthly with actual figures

Required Qualifications and Experience
